EPISODE SYNOPSIS

Jenny escapes from Tarrytown Psychiatric after a visit from Ichabod. Though police have been informed, Abbie is given 12 hours to find her before Irving issues a Warrant for her arrest. Meanwhile a group of covert Hessians is ordered to find her.  They track her to a bar where she had been earlier to pick up bag stashed with fake ID's, money and weapons. Unfortunately, her friend and bartender is killed by the Hessians upon his uncooperative attitude.

Ichabod and Abbie discover before Jenny's latest stint at Tarrytown Psychiatric, she had been all over the world including Mexico, Quatamala, Nepal and Somalia. So why would Jenny return to Sleepy Hollow knowing incarceration is waiting?  At Ichabod's behest, Abbie clues him in on their childhood- their father bailed, their mother was admitted to the mental hospital and then killed herself, so the girls were thrust into the Foster Care System. They decide to speak to Jenny's last known foster parent in hopes of finding her and are told she used to take off to Trout Lake, the location of a friend's cabin. Upon breaking into the cabin, Ichabbie are shocked to learn not only did it belong to Sheriff Corbin, but Jenny knew him! Suddenly Jenny emerges, gun pointed at the duo! After Ichabod calms the sisters down, Jenny discloses that Corbin would send her off to collect artifacts.  The night before his death, he told Jenny he thought someone was coming for him-- Death! Jenny was to keep an artifact he hid, safe.  Turns out it's a magical artifact called a Sextant, that when used, projects a map and location of a spell book (Lesser Key of Solomon).  The book has the power to open a doorway to seventh circle of hell where 99 demons await upon the shore to enter this realm!

Although Team Witness uses the Sextant and are able to see the location for a moment, the covert group of Hessians attack!  A shootout ensues, however they quickly confiscate the device but not before one is captured! Ichabod interrogates the prisoner in German after he notices the man bears the sign of a Hessian soldier, like the Headless Horseman. He warns that there are many sleeper cells embedded within Sleepy Hollow and elsewhere, all of whom will become known as the "End of Days" begins.  Before they can question him further, the man falls over dead after swallowing a poisonous pill.

Thanks to Ichabod's Edetic memory, he's able to recreate the map they saw and deduce the location of the grimoire is at a church. Team Witness quickly head to the church and by the time they get there, the Hessians have begun the ritual! Demons are starting to emerge from the now opened doorway and a fight to the death ensues!  After defeating the Hessians, Abbie throws the Book of Spells into the flames of the open door which closes forever!  Later, Ichabod and Abbie learn the name of the demon she saw in the woods that day...Moloch!

Funny Moments: the famous "Yolanda" scene! Sleepyheads worldwide loved Ichabod's tale of romantic woe.  After which Yolanda, the On Star Operator, breaks down in tears.  It's probably the most talked about and favorite moment of the series thus far!

A few historical facts

The Lesser Key Of Solomon: a book of spells, an evil grimoire that focuses on

demonic incantations compiled in the mid-seventeenth century, with spells at least

200 years older.  It's divided into five chapters- the Ars Goetia, the Ars Theurgia-

Goetia, the Ars Paulina, the Ars Almadel, and the Ars Notoria.  Used by those

who choose to follow the dark forces of the world.

Twistory: Ichabod is the one who created the Boston Tea Party as a way of

distracting British soliders guarding a warehouse at the pier.  George Washington

ordered him to retreive an artifact that was being guarded by a Hessian soldier

who detonates a bomb, killing everyone except Ichabod.  The artifact is the

Sextant.
